parcelle168

Parcelle168 is a Swiss Craft Winery. Located in the heart of La Côte, in the beautiful hamlet of Bugnaux, we are lucky enough to enjoy the beautiful views on the lake and the Mont Blanc every day.

Our winery is incredibly small-scale, just a couple of stainless-steel tanks and a hand full of barrels. We are passionate about creating new wines, so every year we carefully pick fruits from different plots and the wines are produced in micro-cuvées of about 500 bottles. Each wine is made from grapes picked from a vineyard that follows natural cycles.

Our aim is that each wine represent its unique varietal character and growing conditions (the year, the vineyard and down to the row).

Our winemaking philosophy is simple: Preserve what the vineyard grew and create balance and harmony, leaving a minimal winemaking footprint.

Julien Latronche - Founder

I got into to winemaking in an unconventional way. I grew up in the countryside of south-west of France with a grandmother owning a farm to table restaurant. My youth was spent in the outdoors, picking mushroom, fishing, foraging chestnuts and berries. Wine was always a topic at the family table.

I am still today influenced by this proximity to nature in everything I do.

After earning a M. A. in Business Management in Bordeaux. I had the opportunity to visit and live in the top winemaking regions of France, Italy, Spain and the United States. A deep love for wine continued to develop a along the way.

My interest in wine making really picked-up thirteen years ago when settling down in Rolle, VD. I started to meet with the great winemakers of the area. I discovered the beautiful vineyards of Switzerland and developed a passion for single vineyard Pinot Noir, Merlot and Chasselas.

With a long-standing dream to have my own winery, and with the support of my wife Mieke, I created Parcelle168 in 2021.
